Achievements and Milestones

Every match you play on ServeLeague is progress toward your next achievement. ServeLeague automatically detects milestones, streaks, clutch moments, and standout performances, awarding you badges that celebrate your journey.

Whether you've just won your first match or you're chasing the legendary "Invincible" streak, achievements give you goals beyond your rating and a way to share your proudest moments.

Step 1: Understand Achievement Categories

ServeLeague organizes achievements into five categories, each tracking a different dimension of your play:

๐Ÿ… Milestone Achievements

Milestones reward consistency. They track total matches played (Getting Started โ†’ Regular โ†’ Century Club โ†’ Veteran โ†’ Legend) and matches won (Winner โ†’ Champion โ†’ Centurion โ†’ Warrior โ†’ Conqueror), scaling from Common to Legendary rarity. Your very first win earns the ๐ŸŽ‰ First Victory badge.

[!TIP] Every match counts. Even losses move you toward your next milestone. Keep showing up, and the badges will follow.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Streak Achievements

Streak achievements celebrate sustained momentum. They track consecutive wins within and across sessions:

Achievement Requirement Rarity
๐Ÿ”ฅ Hot Streak Win 3 matches in a row Common
๐ŸŒŸ On Fire Win 5 matches in a row Uncommon
โšก Unstoppable Win 10 matches in a row Epic
๐Ÿ’ฅ Dominator Win 15 matches in a row Epic
๐Ÿฐ Invincible Win 20 matches in a row Legendary
๐Ÿ’Ž Perfect Session Win all matches in a session (min 3) Rare

๐Ÿ“ˆ Rating Milestones

These badges mark significant rating thresholds, giving you concrete goals to aim for as your skill improves:

Achievement Requirement Rarity
๐Ÿ“ˆ Rising Star Reach 1000 rating Common
๐ŸŽฏ Skilled Reach 1200 rating Uncommon
๐Ÿš€ Advanced Reach 1400 rating Rare
๐Ÿ’ซ Expert Reach 1600 rating Rare
๐ŸŒ  Master Reach 1800 rating Epic
๐Ÿ‘‘ Grandmaster Reach 2000 rating Legendary
๐ŸŒŸ Elite Reach 2200 rating Legendary

โญ Special Achievements

Special achievements reward clutch performances, dramatic comebacks, and standout play. Many can be earned multiple times:

  • ๐Ÿ”„ Comeback King: Win after losing the first 2 sets (Rare)
  • โœจ Flawless Victory / ๐Ÿงน Clean Sweep: Win without dropping a set (Uncommon)
  • ๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ Giant Killer / โš”๏ธ David vs Goliath: Beat someone rated 100+ or 200+ points above you
  • ๐ŸŽญ Thriller: Win in the deciding set; ๐ŸŽฏ Clutch Performer: Win when down match point
  • โš–๏ธ Deuce Master / ๐Ÿ˜ฐ Nail Biter: Win deuce sets and matches with multiple deuce sets
  • ๐ŸŒŸ Session MVP: Most wins in a session (min 5)
  • ๐Ÿคœ Rivalry Winner: Beat the same opponent 5+ times; ๐Ÿ‘ฏ Doubles Specialist: Win 50 doubles matches
  • ๐Ÿฆพ Iron Man โ†’ ๐Ÿƒ Endurance โ†’ ๐Ÿ… Marathon Runner: Play 10, 15, or 20+ matches in a session

[!NOTE] Achievements marked as multi-shot (like Giant Killer, Comeback King, and Perfect Session) can be earned more than once. Your achievement card shows how many times you've pulled off each feat.

๐Ÿ† Graded League Achievements

If your club runs a graded league with promotion and relegation, you can earn additional achievements tied to your grade progression:

Achievement Requirement Rarity
๐ŸŽ‰ Moving Up Get promoted for the first time Uncommon
๐Ÿ† Top of the Class Reach the highest grade Epic
๐Ÿš€ Unstoppable Rise Get promoted in 3 consecutive blocks Rare
๐Ÿ’ช Comeback Kid Survive relegation after being in the danger zone Rare
๐Ÿ‘‘ Grade Champion Finish first in your grade Uncommon

Step 2: View Your Achievements

To see your achievements, go to your player profile and select the Achievements tab. This shows:

  • Earned badges with full color and rarity-themed borders (gold for Legendary, purple for Epic, blue for Rare, green for Uncommon, bronze for Common)
  • Unearned badges greyed out: a roadmap of what is left to unlock
  • Progress tracker at the top showing how many achievements you have earned out of the total catalog (for example, "12 of 47 achievements earned")
  • Category breakdown so you can see where your strengths lie and which categories have room to grow

Each badge displays its icon, name, description, rarity, and the date you first earned it. Multi-shot achievements also show a count, for example, "Giant Killer ร—3" means you have beaten a higher-rated opponent three separate times. Tap any badge to see the full description of what it took to earn it.

[!TIP] The greyed-out badges are not just decoration. They are your achievement roadmap. Browse them to find your next goal. Some achievements require specific situations (like coming back from 0-2 down), so knowing what is possible helps you spot the opportunity when it arises.

Step 3: Explore the Club Achievements Feed

Your club has a dedicated Achievements page (accessible from the club's public navigation) with three tabs:

  • Recent: a live feed of achievements earned across all players, sorted newest first. Each entry shows the player's name, the badge they earned, and when it happened. Great for celebrating teammates and spotting hot streaks.
  • Catalog: every available achievement in your sport, grouped by category. Browse this to set your next goal. Earned badges appear in full colour while unearned ones are greyed out.
  • Leaderboard: which players have earned the most achievements. See who is leading the achievement race at your club.

[!TIP] Check the Recent tab after sessions are finalized. That's when new achievements are detected and awarded. You might discover a teammate just pulled off something incredible.

Step 4: Understand Achievement Rarity

Every achievement has a rarity level that reflects how difficult it is to earn:

Rarity Difficulty Examples
Common Earned by most active players First Victory, Getting Started, Hot Streak
Uncommon Requires solid commitment Champion, On Fire, Giant Killer
Rare A genuine accomplishment Century Club, Comeback King, Advanced
Epic Reserved for elite dedication Veteran, Unstoppable, Master
Legendary The ultimate badges Legend, Invincible, Grandmaster

Rarity is reflected visually through the badge border colors, from understated bronze for Common achievements to glowing gold for Legendary ones.

Step 5: Share Your Achievements

Earned something you're proud of? Each earned achievement has a Share button that generates a link to a custom landing page.

When someone opens your shared link, they see a designed achievement card showing:

  • The badge with its rarity-themed gradient
  • Your name and club
  • When you earned it (and how many times, if repeatable)
  • A call-to-action to explore your club

On mobile, the Share button uses the native share sheet, so you can send directly to WhatsApp, Messages, or any app. On desktop, it copies the link to your clipboard.

[!TIP] Sharing a rare or legendary achievement is a great way to drive interest in your club. When friends see what you've accomplished, they'll want to join in.

Step 6: Sport-Specific Achievements

ServeLeague supports multiple racquet sports, and achievement names adapt to your club's sport. The underlying types are the same, but the flavor text matches what you play:

  • Table Tennis: "First Rally," "Deuce Master" (10-all), "Clean Sweep" (3-0 or 5-0)
  • Badminton: "Setting Master" (20-all), "At the Cap" (30-point cap), "Mixed Master"
  • Tennis: "Bagel Baker" (6-0 sets), "Tiebreak Master" (7-6), "Breadstick Collector" (6-1)
  • Pickleball and Squash: similarly customized terminology

This means a "Clean Sweep" in table tennis celebrates a 3-0 win, while in tennis it means straight sets. Detection logic adapts to each sport's scoring format automatically.

Step 7: Climb the Achievement Leaderboard

The Leaderboard tab on the club Achievements page ranks players by total unique achievements earned. This is separate from your rating, it rewards breadth of accomplishment rather than pure skill. Winning streaks, rating milestones, playing lots of matches, and pulling off special feats all contribute.

[!NOTE] Achievements are detected automatically when a session is finalized. There's nothing you need to do to "claim" them. Play your matches, and ServeLeague takes care of the rest.

Summary

Achievements add an extra layer of motivation to every match. They celebrate milestones, reward clutch performances, and give you goals beyond your rating. Browse the catalog, check the club feed after each session, share your proudest moments, and climb the leaderboard.
