Statistics and Reports
ServeLeague tracks every match, every rating change, and every result, then turns all of that data into standings, charts, and reports you can actually use. Whether you're a player checking your win rate or a club admin preparing end-of-season summaries, this tutorial walks you through everything the platform offers.
Step 1: Read League Standings
Every league has a standings table that updates automatically after each session is finalized. Go to your league page and click the Standings tab to see the current table.
What the Columns Mean
The columns you see depend on your league's scoring format:

Leagues using Top N scoring also show a Top N column, this counts only each player's best N session results, which rewards consistent attendance without punishing the occasional off night.
How Tiebreakers Work
When two or more players share the same win–loss record, ServeLeague applies tiebreakers in this order:
- Match win/loss ratio: the player with the better ratio ranks higher
- Sets ratio: total sets won divided by sets lost
- Games ratio: total games (points) won divided by lost
- Head-to-head record: if the tied players have faced each other, the winner of those encounters ranks higher
- Shared rank: if all statistical tiebreakers are equal, the players share the same rank position
[!TIP] Tiebreakers are applied automatically. You don't need to configure anything. If you want to understand why two players are ranked in a particular order, hover over their rank to see which tiebreaker resolved it.
Step 2: View Session Results
Each session within a league has its own results page showing every match played that night. Go to a session and switch to the Standings tab for the session-level table, or stay on the Matches tab to see individual match scores.
On the session results page, each match card shows:
- The two players (or teams) and their scores
- A win/loss indicator
- The rating change each player earned from that match (e.g., +12 / −12)
- Any protest badges or special status indicators
Your Personal Session Summary
If you've claimed your player profile, you'll see a personalized session summary showing your record for that session (e.g., "4W – 1L"), your total rating change, and any achievements you unlocked.
Step 3: Explore Player Statistics
Every player profile includes a Stats tab with a comprehensive breakdown of their performance. You can access it from the standings table by clicking a player's name, or from your own profile via the top-right menu.
The Stats tab includes:
- Overall record: total matches played, won, and lost
- Win rate: your win percentage across all sessions
- Current form: a hot 🔥, stable ➡️, or cold 🥶 indicator based on your recent results
- Current streak: how many consecutive wins or losses you're on
- Best matchups: opponents you perform strongest against
- Toughest opponents: players who give you the hardest time
- Best partners: your most successful doubles partners (in doubles leagues)
[!NOTE] Statistics are calculated per club. If you play in multiple clubs, each club tracks your stats independently.
Step 4: Track Rating Progression
The rating chart is one of the most powerful features in ServeLeague. It plots your rating over time so you can visualize improvement, identify slumps, and set goals.
Two Chart Styles
ServeLeague offers two chart views:
- Combined chart: a single chart with separate lines for your singles and doubles ratings, letting you compare progression side by side
- Separate charts: individual charts for singles, doubles, and merit ratings, each with more detail
Time Range Filters
Use the time range buttons to zoom in or out:
- 1m: last month (great for recent form)
- 3m: last three months
- 6m: half year view
- 1y: full year
- All: your entire rating history
Each chart shows year markers at January boundaries and a starting value reference line so you can quickly see whether you're above or below where you began.
Rating Breakdown
Want to understand exactly why your rating changed after a specific session? Click on any session data point to open the Rating Breakdown panel. This shows a per-match explanation of your rating change, which opponents you beat, which beat you, and how many points each match was worth based on the rating difference.
Step 5: Check Weekly Reports and Leaderboards
ServeLeague generates automated weekly reports that highlight the most notable performances across your club.
Weekly Leaderboard
The weekly leaderboard ranks players by their rating gain during the week. This rewards strong single-week performances regardless of overall rating, a newer player who jumps 50 points in a week will rank above a veteran who gained 10.
Player of the Week
Each week, ServeLeague selects a Player of the Week based on outstanding results. The POTW card appears on your club dashboard and in the weekly report, highlighting the player's record and rating gain.
Yearly Gains
The Yearly Gains page tracks cumulative rating improvement across the calendar year, perfect for end-of-year awards or identifying the most-improved players in your club.
Step 6: Export Data and Print Reports
Club admins can export standings and ratings as PDF documents for printing, sharing, or archiving.
Available Exports

To export, go to your league page and click the Print menu in the top-right corner. Select the document you need and it will download as a PDF.
[!TIP] The Ratings Grid PDF is especially useful for clubs that post physical rating boards. Print it each week and pin it up at your venue.
Step 7: Use Club-Level Analytics
Club admins have access to a Club Dashboard that aggregates statistics across all leagues and members.
The dashboard provides:
- Player of the Week and front-runner cards on the club home page
- Quick links to the full statistics section (accessible from the Statistics entry in the admin sidebar)
- Member growth and retention trends
- League activity across all active leagues
- Club health score: a composite metric based on member engagement, event attendance, and facility utilization
These club-level analytics help administrators understand overall engagement and identify areas for growth.
Exporting Data
ServeLeague makes it straightforward to get your data out of the platform, whether you need a polished PDF for the noticeboard, a CSV for your own analysis, or a print-friendly view for committee meetings.

Finding Export Buttons
Export options are contextual, they appear on the page where the data lives:
- League page: the Print menu in the top-right corner offers PDF exports for standings and ratings grids
- Session page: export match schedules and drop-in scorecards
- Members page: export member lists and registration data as CSV
- Tournament page: export bracket data and results
Print-Friendly Views
Many pages in ServeLeague are optimised for printing directly from your browser. Use your browser's Print function (Ctrl+P or Cmd+P) on standings tables, session results, or player profiles for a clean printout without navigation elements. The PDF exports provide even more polished formatting with club branding.

Weekly Reports
Beyond the raw statistics, ServeLeague generates weekly reports: AI-powered narrative summaries that turn your club's numbers into readable stories.
What Weekly Reports Are
Weekly reports are automatically generated summaries that highlight the most notable performances, upsets, streaks, and milestones from the past week of play. Instead of scanning tables and charts, you get a written recap like:
"It was a big week at Downtown TT Club. Sarah Chen extended her winning streak to 12 matches, while newcomer James Park made waves with a 5-1 debut session that shot his rating up 47 points..."
These reports capture the narrative of your club's week in a way that raw statistics cannot.
Where to Find Them
Weekly reports are accessible from two places:
- Admin sidebar: under Reports, you'll find the weekly report archive with all past reports
- Club public page: the most recent report is featured on your club's public-facing page, giving visitors and members a quick snapshot of what's happening
How They Complement Statistics
While the statistics pages (standings, player stats, rating charts) give you precise numbers, weekly reports provide context and narrative. They answer questions like:
- Who had the best week overall?
- Were there any major upsets (lower-rated players beating higher-rated opponents)?
- Which players are on hot streaks or cold streaks?
- Did anyone hit a milestone (100th match, new rating peak)?
Think of statistics as the data and weekly reports as the story that data tells.
