Your club owns its data

Any club handing its history to a platform deserves a straight answer to one question: what happens to our records if this thing goes away? Here is ours, in specifics rather than reassurance.

What is already true

Download everything, whenever you want

One button in your admin console builds a complete club data pack — leagues, sessions, matches, set scores, ratings and players — and downloads it to your own device.

Documented, not a database dump

The pack ships with a README, a format guide describing every field in plain English, and a JSON Schema another system can validate against.

Backed up nightly, and checked

The whole database is exported to separate storage every night, and an automated alert fires if a backup is ever missed.

No lock-in

The pack is ordinary CSV and JSON with no proprietary format and no dependency on us. A spreadsheet opens it today and will still open it in ten years.

If ServeLeague ever winds down

These are commitments in our Terms of Service, not good intentions.

  1. 1

    90 days' notice

We will email your club's registered administrators and publish a notice on this site at least 90 days before the service closes.

  2. 2

    The service keeps running

Your club stays on its existing plan for the whole notice period. Nothing is switched off early, and no data is deleted unless you ask us to.

  3. 3

Exports stay available to the end

If anything has to be withdrawn first, data export is the last thing to go — so you always leave with a complete copy.

The questions clubs actually ask

What if you personally are hit by a bus?
If you have downloaded a data pack, it is already on your own machine and it works without us — no login, no server, no ServeLeague. That is why we give you the file rather than promise you access.
Could another system import the pack?
Yes. It is designed as an interchange format, documented field by field and published with a JSON Schema, so a developer can write an importer from the pack alone.
Would we lose our club history?
Only if you never download a pack. One pack holds every match, every set score and every rating change we hold for your club, in files that need no software of ours to read.

Take a copy before you need one

The club data pack is available to club administrators on every plan.
