Turn it on and choose a match
After the base station is provisioned once with venue Wi-Fi and the club account, an organiser assigns a match. The scorer wakes, receives that assignment and lets the umpire accept it without configuring Wi-Fi or browsing other matches.
Built around long standby
E-paper keeps the score visible without continuous display power, deep sleep becomes the off state, and buttons wake the device. With no always-on LED, the design minimises drain while units wait for the next club night.
Club-owned and ready at every table
A controlled fleet removes the dependency on volunteers having suitable phones. Points are queued locally and retried after a connection drop, while the final games still require umpire confirmation before the result is saved.
